About me

Hi, I'm Ilse! I'm the founder of Studio Trinkets. After working for many years as a nurse, psychologist, and later as a BI consultant, I decided to follow my dream and open my own creative studio by the sea.

Creativity has always been a huge part of my life. In my free time, you'll usually find me crocheting, knitting, throwing pottery, making jewelry, embroidering, or trying yet another creative hobby. Honestly... I have far too many to list.

Living close to the beach has always been a dream of ours, and the relaxed atmosphere of our home is exactly what I hope you'll feel when you visit the studio. At Studio Trinkets, nothing has to be perfect. It's a place where you can slow down, step away from the busyness of everyday life, and simply enjoy making something with your hands—whether you come alone or with friends.

I also love treating myself to solo outings, so if you've been thinking about coming on your own, this is your sign. Grab a cup of coffee or tea, settle in, and enjoy a little creative escape just for you.

Klaas (= employee of the month)

Besides me, there's one more permanent member of the studio team: our brown Labrador, Klaas.

His main responsibilities include lying exactly where everyone needs to walk, snoring louder than you'd expect, and leaning against visitors in exchange for cuddles whenever the opportunity arises.

He also takes his role as Head of Quality Control very seriously, carefully supervising everything that happens in the studio from his favorite spot.

Studio Trinkets

We transformed our conservatory into a warm and cozy creative studio with space for up to eight people. It's a welcoming place to gather, create something beautiful, and take a break from the rush of everyday life. On sunny days, we move the tables outside so we can enjoy being creative in the fresh air.
